Jennifer C. Carter

Owner and Managing Attorney

Attorney Jennifer C. Carter, founder and managing attorney of J.C. Carter Law, has extensive experience in representing injury victims in both personal injury and workers’ compensation matters, alike.  She, also, enjoys assisting clients in forming the estate plan that is right for them.

Attorney Carter was born and raised in Whittier, California.  She graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California with her Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Psychology.  She then went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School, again, graduating cum laude with the distinction of being in the Top 10% of her class.

Throughout law school, she obtained valuable experience in research and trial advocacy while volunteering as a certified law clerk for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office and as a law clerk for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.

Licensed to practice law in California, as well as the United States District Court – Central District of California and the United States Supreme Court, Attorney Carter immediately began practice with a respected firm where she gained unparalleled experience representing injury victims in the fight against insurance companies.  She is passionate about bringing injury victims’ stories to life to ensure that they receive the compensation they deserve.

Attorney Carter has extensive experience representing injury victims in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including accidents that involve automobiles, pedestrians, bicycles, motorcycles, and trucks, as well as slip/trip and falls, defective products, and wrongful death.  She is, also, a zealous advocate for injured workers, ensuring that they are awarded the benefits they are entitled to through the workers’ compensation system, including medical treatment, temporary disability, permanent disability, future medical, and vocational vouchers.

In addition to representing injury victims, Attorney Carter is dedicated to bringing peace of mind to her clients who are looking to ensure that their assets will be protected for future generations.  She strives to provide compassionate and tailored consultation for each client who is looking to create their estate plan.

When Attorney Carter is not on the job, advocating for her clients, she enjoys staying active within the community and spending time with her family and friends.  Among other involvements, she has been active in her local bar association, the Southeast District Bar Association (SEDBA) whose mission it is to provide access to legal service and the judicial system.  She is, also, dedicated to empowering other women through her involvement with Soroptimist International of Whittier.
